During my xmas stay at this hotel, I really liked the clean and well-equipped kitchen area. It was perfect for cooking meals and enjoying them with my family. the hotel's location was fantastic, with just a short 10-minute walk to the center and all the attractions. Being so close to everything made it convenient for us to explore the city and enjoy all the festivities. Lastly, the friendly and helpful staff added to the overall positive experience. They were always ready to assist and answer any questions we had.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The noise from other guests, especially the long-term residents, was quite disruptive at times.

It is located close to the gondola and there are many places nearby to rent bikes, start hikes, make other bookings for sporting activities including bungee jumoing,sky diving, horseback riding, jet ski, flying, etc........ We were 2 adults , two teen boys and a six year old. We were in Queenstown to be outside and enjoy the outdoors. After spending a lot in Te Anau on Distinction Te Anau -- which was awful for the price---- my teens recommended Pinewood because they had been there with a school trip. Great kids and great choice! Perfect for a family because it has ensuite rooms with common kitchen and lounge area. Go for it if you want to spend your money on the great sporting activies instead of fancy place you won't be using! They even let us use the kitchen and common area after check-out so we could breakfast without hurrying.

Rooms look much better on the website than reality. The lodge we stayed in was relatively clean but we did not have a suitable onsite carpark and there was no where to turn around safely once you got up the hill. Very narrow driveway.

our recent stay at pinewood lodge and apartments in queenstown was fantastic! the near-new self-contained unit had a comfy bed, a spacious bedroom, and a convenient kitchenette. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and other attractions. the staff were helpful and friendly. highly recommended!

Very basic room with no fridge. It was extremely noisy at nice. This venue suits young backpackers doing it on the cheap, rather than mature couples.

We loved how close the hotel was to the city center and the gondola. The room was very comfortable and had great views. The private parking was convenient and a big plus. The common kitchen was well-equipped and well-lit, making it easy to prepare meals.

Some of the other guests were a bit noisy, but that may have been a one-time occurrence.

Room was small and minimal equipped, but ok for a short stay and not expensive.

You have to pay for the internet, which was rather slow. Narrow parking space.

Noisy units ,could hear everything next door ,doors make noise ,carpet worn curtains threadbare ,no comfort in Room .Clearly picture on website did not pertain to room we had .I am aware there are better units in the complex ,the unit we had was smelly and not what I was expecting ,far too basic
